I am a scientist with a broad interest in reproductive biology, natural history, and evolution of squamate reptiles.
I am currently a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Laboratory of Ecology and Evolution at the Butantan Institute (São Paulo, Brazil), where I'm also a member of the Squamate Reproduction Research Group. Most of my research is centered on how animals accomplish reproduction. My current research projects focus on the evolution of viviparity, reproductive phenology, and developmental plasticity. I combine field and laboratory work and use various techniques and research approaches, including anatomical techniques, experimentation, and phylogenetic comparative methods. I am also interested in various aspects of the natural history of squamates, and I have collaborated with several researchers around the world. In parallel, I also work as a reviewer / editor of scientific articles in English. |
